約70年前、祖父の代より、緑豊かな箕面の地で住持しています。
その頃は、田んぼばかり。バスもなく祖母は箕面駅まで、歩いて買い物に通ったといいます。
私の子供の頃からでも、人や道路、お店が増え、様変わりし便利になりました。
しかし、良い変化がたくさんある一方、変わらぬもの、残したいものもたくさんあり、私はどちらも大切にしたいと考えます。
ここ帝釈寺は、今と昔をつなぐ結び目でありたいと想っています。

For about seventy years, since my grandfather’s generation, our family has lived and served as resident priests in the lush, green land of Minoh.
In those days, the area was surrounded almost entirely by rice fields. There were no buses, and my grandmother used to walk all the way to Minoh Station to do her shopping.
Even from my own childhood, I have witnessed many changes: more people, more roads, and more shops. The town has transformed and become far more convenient.
While there have been many positive changes, there are also things that remain unchanged—things we wish to preserve. I believe both are equally important.
Here at Taishak-ji Temple, I hope we can be a connecting thread, linking the past with the present.
